Cold Fish: An aloof unemotional person lack of libido
This series plays on our need to communicate our sexual identity through our clothing. Visually, these images
deconstruct the idea that a body without clothing is not appetizing.
Included are photographs of individuals and couples posing nude behind their frozen undergarments thereby
creating interesting and unusual visual dialogues. The underwear expresses that we rely on articles of clothing to
express our sexual persona. By creating this juxtaposition, the project proposes that, when stripped bare, we
become “cold fish”. Society’s unquenchable thirst for visual stimulation pushes the boundaries of the fashion
industry.
